Attorney William Conwell is a criminal defense attorney in Lake County, California. He has previously worked as a criminal defense attorney in San Francisco, San Mateo, Alameda, Contra Costa, Solano, Napa, Yolo, and Marin Counties. He concentrates his practice on criminal and DUI defense and limits his geographical focus to Lake and Mendocino Counties, so most of his time is spent working on cases rather than driving hours to distant courts. As a result of this, he is familiar with the Lake County Court's procedures, the D.A.'s, the judges, and the local police.


Attorney Conwell does not practice civil law which allows him to focus all his energy and time on criminal and DUI defense cases. He participates in ongoing legal education regularly, (far more than the California State Bar requires,) and is very familiar with new evolving cutting-edge strategies in criminal defense as well as pertinent new cases. He is a member of the California DUI Lawyer's Association, California Public Defender's Association, and the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers.
